Week 15

Ben & Steve Gerlicher

Hello Ben & Steve,

Rod and Gary have had a productive week.  Rod has just about finished electrical in the cabin.  Your helm and co-pilot seats are done and I must say "look great!".  I think the vinyl and cloth you chose is the best combination I have seen yet.  As Chris told you, I had already called Grant Signs to change the size of lettering on the transom.
Gary is installing the engine today.  By the way, Volvo does a way better marinization on the 8.1 litre than does Mercury.  Volvo suggested we try F-3 props.
Bob needs your Social Security # for export documentation.  You will also need life jackets to take the boat home.  Will you be supplying or do you wish us to supply?  The cheap U.S. Coast Guard Approved jackets are $27.00 each.  Toby did the non-skid on foredeck, gunwales and swim grid last night.  Hope to sea trial late next week, then it goes up to our shop across town for cockpit nonskid and clear coat.
